There is a plethora of things you can do to improve your health. We are here to help you find a balance between healthy eating and consuming your favorite treats in moderation. When you come in for your appointment, we will discuss ways we can improve and personalize your diet.
A chiropractic adjustment will make your body feel amazing. Other terminology for chiropractic adjustments are as follows: chiropractic manipulation, manual manipulation, or spinal manipulation. The adjustment refers to the manipulation of the vertebrae that has abnormal movements and are not functioning properly. A chiropractic adjustment will assist in alleviating these issues.
Extremities such as the jaw, shoulders, ribs, wrists, elbows, fingers, hands, hips, ankles, knees, toes, and feet are the numerous joints present in the body. If you are experiencing symptoms including fatigue or weakness, pain, catching of joints, stiffness or immobility, chronic back issues, or chronic problems in the cervical region, you may need an extremity adjustment.
Chronic back pain is one of the biggest problems Americans face today and affects eight out of ten people at some point in their lives. Even though back pain is common, the level of severity varies. A variety of different conditions are responsible for discomfort in different regions of your back. These include sprained ligaments, strained muscles, trigger points, arthritis, ruptured disks, inflamed joints, sport injuries, and many more. We will locate the source and do everything we can to ease the uncomfortable pain you may be experiencing.
An auto accident has the ability to tweak your neck, your spine, or even force your entire body out of proper alignment. Our trained professionals are ready to locate the source of each issue and prescribe the necessary adjustments and corrective exercises as they see fit. Our goal is to have you feeling like yourself again in no time.
Myofascial release is an intervention administered to various patients to alleviate pain or restrictive tissue problems. The release treatment usually involves the application of gentle or moderate pressure on the connective tissues and leads to relaxation and eventual elongation of the fascia therein. These restrictions are often caused by traumatic accidents or inflammations of the soft tissue. Some patients get them as an after-effect of surgery.
Part of healing the entire body is monitoring what goes into it. The body uses food as fuel, and what fuel we choose has a significant effect on how our body functions. That is why nutritional counseling is one of the most important services we can provide for people. By teaching people about what types of foods allow their bodies to function optimally, we empower people to make positive choices that benefit their health.
Stimulation can be a fantastic tool to assist you in feeling better. When applied to tissue, electric currents create thermal, physiological, and chemical responses. The currents also alter pain impulses. We use interferential stimulation the most. Two channels of electrical stimulation create a third current that penetrates the affected tissues with little resistance. This stimulation will help control the pain and muscle contractions.
We also provide soft tissue work, rehab/exercise sheets, and strength rehabilitation.
Graston Technique Therapy
Also known as Soft Tissue Therapy, the Graston Technique effectively treats all soft tissue conditions, chronic or acute. The treatment allows for faster rehabilitation, a more excellent range of motion, reduced pain, and helps to restore normal function. Some common conditions treated with GTT are:
- Ankle Pain
- Wrist Pain
- Neck Pain
- Hamstring Injuries
- Hip Pain
- IT Band
- Tennis Elbow
- Golfers Elbow
- Back Pain
- Knee Pain
- Heel Pain
- Shoulder Pain
